Do imported flights count toward the free limit?
No. Only new flights you add by hand use the 50-flight allowance. Bring your supported flight history without using those free entries.
How is night time calculated?
Pilotcloud uses flight times and airport location data to calculate night time using civil twilight. When data is missing, you can complete it or enter night time manually. You can review and override a calculated result.
What does currency tracking cover?
The currency view tracks supported rolling day and night passenger-currency checks from your logged takeoffs and landings. Medicals, ratings and language expiry dates are tracked separately. These indicators help you review your records; they do not assess every requirement for a particular flight.
Which files can I import myself?
Supported Flylog CSV and LogTen TXT or TSV exports go through a preview with warnings and duplicate checks. For other CSV or Excel files, Pro includes access to assisted import mapping.
What happens when I reach the free limit or cancel Pro?
After 50 manual entries, Free pauses new manual flight creation. Saved records stay readable, editable and exportable, and imports remain available. You can cancel Pro renewal at any time; access continues until the end of the paid term, then returns to Free.
Which export formats are available?
Download PDF reports, flight CSV, full data CSV or a JSON backup. EASA FCL.050 is the core PDF format, with supporting layouts for UK CAA, FAA, Transport Canada, CASA, CAA New Zealand and UAE GCAA. DGCA India is in beta. Final acceptance remains with your authority.
