GUIDE

What to keep clear

Use the right path for the file

Known Flylog and LogTen CSV exports can import at once. Generic CSV or Excel files create a mapping request instead of guessing.

  • CSV, TSV and tab-delimited TXT
  • Flylog and LogTen detection
  • Excel support request
  • Source file kept unchanged

Check the preview

The preview shows detected rows, warnings and likely duplicates before any flight is written.

  • Parsed flight rows
  • Warning count
  • New and updated rows
  • Duplicate handling

Confirm or roll back

After you confirm, Pilotcloud writes the ready rows. You can roll back the latest import during the same flow if the result is wrong.

  • Explicit save step
  • Latest-import rollback
  • Totals check after import
  • No effect on the free manual limit

FAQ

Common questions

Short answers about the page and your records.

Can I import an Excel workbook now?

You can upload it as a support request. Direct write is available for supported CSV-style exports; Excel is not guessed into your logbook.

How does duplicate handling work?

The preview marks likely duplicates and can show when an existing imported row may be updated before you confirm.

Do imported flights count toward 50 free flights?

No. The limit applies to manual flight entries, not imported history.

Keep your next flight clear from the start.

Start with 50 manual flights. Import your old records without using that limit.
